Everytime I try to click on the sandra icon, nothing happens. I have gone to the directory it's installed in and tried to run the .exe, still nothing happens. I have tried uninstalling/reinstalling/redownloading it several times, and the same thing every time, it used to work just fine, now it doesn't, any ideas?
Same thing happened to me. Are you using the free version from the guru3d download section? Maybe it's expired or something. Or a windows update has hosed it.
Could be a firewall thing. As you have it installed try this. Download from here http://www.vnunet.com/vnunet/downloads/2129001/sisoft-sandra-lite-2005 and select run instead of save. It should find a version on your pc when you have extracted the file. It will then ask you to uninstall previous program . Do this via C/P and add/remove. Continue installation of sisoft as normal.
It says all components are already part of Windows, I'm at a loss here. Maybe SANDRA just doesn't like my computer, stupid b**ch!!...lol
I've just uninstalled lite 2007 sp1 version. Installed the newer lite x1 (11.17) and had to use 7-zip to extract it. Works ok. May be worth a try? http://files.extremeoverclocking.com/file.php?f=75
Hi, I had the same problem. Downloaded from several sites. No luck. Tried the above post using 7-Zip, no luck Few days ago I got a reply from Sandra tech., no help, they had me check a few things, I downloaded their logging file and sent the results back to them .. no answer yet. I can download files form other sites ok so don't think its cookies or whatever. One thing I noticed is in checking certificate it says the counter signature is wrong so I installed the CERT (on the two main Sandra files) but it still won't work. Any ideas. Hi, Thanks for the reply. I will try the site you suggested in a few minutes. I was trying to get their free " Sandra light" version running on my computer. When I try to start it ... you would normally expect some sort of error message if it could not execute or loaded properly.... I is natural to think you have a problem with your computer when things do not go as expected. I could never find and kink of readme text file that tells you how to set up your system .... install instructions !! Nothing should really be this complicated. IMO. Best Regards, Vaughan

Was having the same problems and this is the one that got it to work for me. 2005 version used to work and went to us it today and nothing. So downloaded 2007 and nothing. four downloads later she works. Must be a MS bug.

Sandra a time wasting pile of crap This piece of crap runs for 24 hours and gets to the last module "registry settings" and then just hangs, runs for hours nothing happens. Run it again and untick registry settings, it then hangs on the last module. Nothing I can do to get this junk working, a report that takes a ****ing a full day to produce and then hangs?
