I have a dell 6800 PCI-E card with 256mb ram ddr1 2.8ns hynix. besides i got a dfi lanparty sli-dr. The problem is the card doesnt work. The screen is blank but in some otehr comp it worked so im asking you if dell has some protection in the bios/or hardwired so you cant use it in nondell machines? In linux it sees the card as nvidia A01. Im asking too if its possible to install a pci and this dell card than run windows adn make a core/bios dump of the dell card with rivatuner without installing the drivers for the 6800 cuz they crash windows than.
