Wow...what you guys/gals think...link...http://www.aliexpress.com/premium/c...atName=graphics-cards&CatId=708044&isViewCP=y
if you want r9-290x with: Power Source: 256 Bit Go ahead. A lot of sellers there write a lot of things and basically they promise generic hardware of certain series. Chances are high, you will get nice piece of wood.
B-stock, RMA products, products that didn't pass QA. That's the first thing that comes to mind. Though, for that money you could take a gamble and see ...
I almost pulled the trigger. but the horror stories around the net made me back out at the last click. Maybe someone is braver than I.
For some of those prices, it's tempting to risk it for ya OP, but I wouldn't trust that website with my credit card....
$111 bucks for a 780ti? I got ripped off. I suspect thats a rip off prob just the stock hs/f or a cake etc
Took a gamble and ordered 5 7970's, suppposed to be XFX ghost series cards, they have another 10 days to get here..... Make sure you pay with CC if you order, that way you can reverse the charges if items were not as describled. Also, their "dispute" is less than appealing, sellers seem to want to offer only half of what the shipping is, and NO refund on main product ordered. I also spent $70 on 3 Koolance waterblocks, we shall see.....
This was a EPIC waste of time, had to issue "disputes" with both of my sellers, ended up getting full refunds back from Alexi-express. I guess the good thing is, that they keep the $$ untill you finially accept the merchandise. If anyone does end up ordering anything, use fed-ex, or UPS for shipping, I'd like to think that would be a better route to go.
Well, when you go to their "buyer forum" and it directs you to Facebook, there may be issues.... Just sayin.....
They got 780Ti's listed for less than $75 shipped.... They even got HD7990's for less than $75 shipped.... AliExpress is similar to Ebay in that they're not the ones selling the items. They allow others to list and sell items through their site. AliExpress may have honest intentions, but that doesn't mean that the sellers using the site do.
