2.25 may be delayed a bit. I'm about to start long term partnership with one more vendor so one more "light" version of RivaTuner besides EVGA Precision is expected to be launched on the market this autumn. So possibly I'll be rather busy with this new project.

Well, you can still use the most popular RT features (fan control, OC, monitor...) if you force the driver version.

Will the 2.25 work with nvidia 9800 gt and 186.18 driver to soft mod it ? Or will the nv92 won't be supported this time ?

Unwinder I think you should make Rivatuner a permanent project and just charge $20 a pop for it with free updates for a year. I'd pay for it if you could incorporate multi-gpu overclocking and voltage control.

Thanks, but I feel it unfair to charge for my hobby. So it will stay free.

What do you mean Multi-GPU OC? You know that if you have SLI or TRI SLI your OC goes to all cards right...?

Windows 7 and new Rivatuner!! What more can you want? 20 million $ win in lotto?

Forcing the driverversion letting you do the most HW things, like fan and OC. But I do really hope, that Rivatuner ver 2.xx will be able to load upon start without UAC to pop up.

Unwinders, are you aware that you are as important as Nvidia in making us a "good, fast and solid" experince of Windows 7? I know, that you might not make so much money of this as Microsoft is, but our believes in you are as great as in Nvidia to support the BEST OS ever.

any knowledge on compatibility with PunkBuster and FPS monitoring? i wish a better anti-cheat program would come along...

@Burgurne-if you are a competent PC-user you can just disable UAC. its only there to protect people that don't know what they are doing. i find it more of a headache than anything. i've found that with vista just as many users FUBAR their system by having it on vs. disabled or using XP because they become accustom to clicking 'allow' every time it pops up, because it pops up for EVERYTHING.

so does this mean 2.25 will be last version ? and what is "lite" version?
i have ati card- does evga presicion work for me? if you are no longer goeing to update r.t. after 2.25 then will you pass on to another programmer? i love rivatuner (been using it for 2.5yrs now) and greatly appreciate all the effort you have put into making it, would be greatly missed if development stopped. maybe you should start charging money for full version of r.t. then maybe devleopment can continue??
thanks again for your supreme work.

all i hope is that you're able to keep both the free community version and the commercial(s) one(s).

if you get paid to do some codding on commercial one and a few months later you add those features to the free community version, that would be fine for me

after all, its nice to keep RT free, but we all have to eat and the money has to come from somewhere

Let's just have the patience guys, Unwinder is certainly working on it, and he already posted some time ago that the next version would be delayed due to other obligations. In the meantime we have the official control panel and other third party tools to fill in the gasps.
