Hi Guys, Today i tried following ribbels guide to the newly added auto fan control tab (big thanks Unwinder, ribbel ! ) but surprisingly, i cant change a single value, nor do i see the PWM settings ? The single values seem to be "locked" it works fine, but i cant change them ? Any help is really apreciated, already tried /build didnt change anything, os is vista x86 driver is 8.10 final (as posted in the ati drivers section)
1) You must unlock auto rule editing by setting AutoFanSpeedControl to 3 and restarting RT. 2) You must have auto mode enabled to edit auto settings. You're not allowed to edit them in fixed fan speed mode. 3) You must double click a setting to edit it.
Thanks Unwinder again ! Restarting rivatuner after setting autofan to 3 together with uninstalling an older version [.04 (.11 didnt "updated" it)] fixed it for me ! Right now enjoying a quiet (not really silent system thanks to rivatuner !
