Are you not able to put the 2 phones in dfu mode and install the update manually?

 

good old APPLE lol.. not as reliable as they once where. I wouldn't go back to apple, they are good but for the money, nah not no more, you simply can buy cheaper equivalent to an APPLE these days that's just as good, I suppose it depends on your flavour, cant help feeling APPLE not what they used to be these days and like I say you can for a fraction of the price buy something that can do most of what you really use your phone/tablet for.
my last iPhone was grate but not really worth the hype or the money... like most things these days.

Quite a few people I know picked up the gold/bronze colour.

Good to see there are varieties of colours to choose from...

The previous iphones were either black or white...

I wont troll on your iPhone 6... The 6 and 6 plus offer very impressive performance from lower spec hardware which within itself is a testament to the light weight efficiency of it's OP system. It's actually not Apple or Mac that's a turn off to me, but rather it's the apple and Mac lovers which turn me off to their products. Way too many times I've tried to have affable tech conversations with apple fans, yet once I start speaking in a technical language to them they are either completely lost or just default to, "it's apple so it's built perfect and best in the world." Ok? That's not the honest technical answer to the question I just asked. So by proxy I just don't want to associated with the technical ignorance surrounding most apple fans. Great phone and OP system, but that doesn't make up for the brain inside the users skull.

 

Maybe they really don't care about how these things work or their spec sheets? I avoid Android phones for that reason, it's like buying a PC. I don't care how many cores or GB's of RAM or GHz or chipset it has, just work smoothly and run any apps I want.

 

I think i saw a statistical survey that way more rich/successful people use iphones than android, but, who cares what others think? You get the same group of 'elitist' people on android, windows, etc who talk sh1t about the others

 

Yea... Much like at my company where those at the top make 10 times the salary of those in the middle that really are far more brilliant. We call them desk jockeys. They have secret meetings twice a week only to contrive ways to keep the false impression that they actually have any clue to appear more intelligent than those that have known for a long time that which has just occurred to them. Money doesn't equal intelligence. Did Tesla die a wealthy man? Nope, but I bet he was smarter than my CEO whom uses an iPhone 5.

That's great! I wonder if they fixed that problem where everytime my Daughter wants to simply purchase an app, she can just tap, it downloads then is just billed to her carrier. Currently she has to enter in iTunes user and passwords. Something easy made painful.
