Me too. Gotta love having a 6 score with 12 threads total and 12gb ram.
When I was in ITT tech the pcs were XP 32bit 4gb ram and Core 2 duo e5300.
I wanted to puke so hard. That was in 2010. Running 2x Windows Server 2080 Virtual Servers from a 5400rpm usb 2.0 drive was slow as hell.

I havent tried out windows 10 yet. This will be nice to try.

That start menu is worse than the last release lol, you can't even right click > context menu on folders pinned now, you just get the Metro right click options for unpin and resize...

I wish they would just get rid of this bull**** metro crap and start menu.

Windows 7's start menu was perfect.

Did they fix Steam games yet? I won't install this crap until they fix it. That and not being able to set custom resolutions in nv control panel......without losing signal and hard resetting the pc. Even Longhorn wasn't this bad!

    You have a simple solution:

Stop using Technical Preview versions of Windows, and wait for the final. Stick to 7/8.1 until then. Problem solved.

I am using 7, but was wondering if things had changed since 9901.

A few things have changed, but it isn't stable, too many small glitches. Some stuff on the UI doesn't even align properly.

A new build should be coming soon, since this one doesn't even have Start Menu/Screen transparency.

Yeah, the start menu took a step backwards for me to, I much prefer how it was on the other builds.

This is my first try of Win 10 preview.
I installed it on my a mini pc with Atom 230 2gb ram
Bootup is slow as hell but runs decent for the weak hardware.
I really do not like the look of the start menu.
And I use 8.1 on my main rig with start is back.

Visually the start menu looks cleaner and more organized, but still a WIP. Hard to imagine the context menu not being reintegrated.

The new photos app looks like a huge improvement too, again though, once its fully functional.

Yep, they're not bringing back the start menu, they are renaming and making smaller the start screen and calling it a menu because it pops up on the desktop in the same place the real menu used to live, not impressed at all

Can you be more specific? What games did you find trouble with?

I installed this build yesterday (the very first one I try) and I have tried two games so far without problem under Steam: Team Fortress 2 and Hitman: Absolution. Using my main rig and with Catalyst Omega 14.12, mind you.

I agree with you guys on the fact that everything still feels very WIP and there are several glitches and bugs here and there.
I don't like neither the aesthetics of it, nor the new Start Menu, nor the new icons in the file explorer. They look as though having been made by a 3-year-old child :3eyes:

Well, I've been participating in the official forums and using the Feedback app to send bugs reports and suggestions. Let's see if, among everyone, they will listen this time a bit more to their users.

    Greetings from Spain :)
