Watch_Dogs 2 stands next to it's pre-release material pretty well. As does FCrimal.

People want to act as if Ubisoft are the only company to ever do this... when, they are not.
Look back at pre-release material of Half-Life 2. Look at the Trap Town E3 demo. Looked awesome. And, the final Ravenholm level in HL2... incredibly stripped down.

The only game I can think of that didn't downgrade from it's E3 preview was DOOM. It improved. Upped it's detail, it's texture clarity... it's effects.

 

I really wish they can turn this around. Since Primal, series is going down the toilet.

Primal would be a decent game if they had marketed it in similar way, like they did with Blood Dragon. In Blood Dragon they reused an island from Far Cry 3, changed some stuff and it turned out a decent game, definitely was worth those 15€.

Now, with Primal, they reused Far Cry 4 map, made some atmosphere changes and asked whooping 60€. Like what the hell?

 

Primal was a much larger project then Blood Dragon was.
And, Primal doesn't use FC4's map, it uses the same template. The actual in game map is drastically different.

Blood Dragon wasn't a full scale project. It was a little side project some people did because they could.
Primal, was meant as a full scale release.

 

Last time I checked, a lot of the map stuff was the same, so where did that extra time saved went for the map making to justify 60€ price tag. They just moved some bushes around, used different color profiles, different skybox picture and moved around some stuff in the horizon.

 

I watched a viseo online and it said full length trailer but it seemed more like a full length trailer plus several other character trailers put together.

It had a pilot, a priest and a bartender woman all taking up arms.

I heard a rumour that we could customise characters...is that just for co op or some garbage or are we going to chose from one of those 3 characters or something?

Either way the concept and game looked great. I'm looking forward to this way more now and I really think they will try and add more customisation after the last few games were exactly the same.

I still think farcry 2 was the best game despite it's flaws and would kill for a remake of it. I don't really get excited for games at all but this one looks promising.

 

The 3 characters you saw are people you help and receive quests from as far as I understood it.

 

They did much more then just "move some bushes around".
There are large portions of the map that look nothing like the map from FarCry 4. And even those areas that are similar... are drastically changed.

But, it doesn't what I say or show... you've made up your mind and I really don't feel like playing today.

Love farcry franchise i really have nothing negative to say, love every bit of every game that was released and looking for more quality time in montana USA xd
