This a funny story. I was looking at google images for something and one of my pictures caught my eye and bought me back to this old ass thread.

Small cool update Sold and am selling some duplicates. Fun stuff

I thought it would be a shame to not share my Command Center (as I call it) The V56K is stored in another room though, with all the bass produced from my Cerwin-Vega! speakers I don't want to rattle it too much (15's, 12's, 10's and 8's all running together ha)

Oh, the pile of boxes under the "so powerful, it's kind of ridiculous" banner are going to be for sale shortly.

Click to enlarge! (That's what she said!)

Wow those pictures make me look insane. Pretty much accurate

Oh wow. I remember the eyes on the boxes, haha.

I think we might still have my old Voodoo3 in a box running some flavor of *nix around here somewhere.

Oh well this brings memories to the best era of PC gaming. Everything felt new, every new game came up with some new technology and all of that packed in the most fierce battle ever... nvidia vs 3dfx.

So I kept myself a reminder of these old times, THE card which started it all:

http://xhaste.sweb.cz/23082007033.jpg

I also had S3 Virge but let's be honest, it was more of a DEcelerator

I fondly remember all my Voodoo cards.

Diamond Monster 4mb - Voodoo Graphics
STB Black Magic 12mb - Voodoo 2 (2x in SLI)
Guillimot Phoenix 16mb - Voodoo Banshee
3dfx Voodoo 3 3000 16mb - Voodoo 3

At this point I was stuck with Geforce 2, VSA-100 (Voodoo 4/5), or Radeon, the new comer from ATI. The Radeon 64mb Vivo was amazing after all the Voodoo cards "bland" rendering, i picked it.

My first Voodoo card was paired with an S3 virge DX, and overclocked to 60MHz, allowed me to play at 800x600 for the first time
Added a fan and a cardboard shroud over it to keep it cool.
The I had an AGP Banshee, which was OK, it replaced my G400 that died.
I also got a PCI Voodoo 3 which i used for quite some time, as a spare, or 2nd monitor.
Years later, I finally bought a Voodoo 5 5500 AGP from Brazil, which arrived, and worked OK. $62 back then
Not sure where they are now though.
