I installed RivaTuner and it says the 178 Nvidia WHQL drivers don't please RivaTuner or it's not set to work with them. Gave me the same message for the 180 drivers I got here. Then the RivaTuner HotFix wouldn't hatch in Windows or Command prompt in user or Admin. Also tried user and Admin in Safe Mode. What gives?
I went... I went to the link you posted and it was a generic search page. Just tell me the lataest driver that Rivatuner would be happy with and how to make the HotFix for RivaTuner work. It would be much appreciated.
Why should I tell you it's noted in RT's own help file? Did you read it? What hotfix you talking about? If you have an 8800, the newest 180.xx will work.
Nothing seems Nothing seems to work with anything else. The HotFix is 20RC15HOTFIX.EXE gotten from the same page I got RivaTuner 211 from. They won't work together. Using drivers 175,178,180 and Z-Tweaked 9128, RT is not happy with anyone of them. The Z-Tweaked 9128 won't even install because it says it can't find any compatable hardware. I will see what the Help file has to say. RT seems to be working but it keeps giving me the same message that the drivers are incorrect for RT.
That's For RivaTuner 2.0 RC 15. Not required with 2.11 AFAIK... Unchecked the box in RT when it says the drivers have not been tested with RT. It won't remind you again. ALL Nvidia drivers will work with RT. I'm running 180.42's just fine. Must be their .ini file doesn't have your card in there??
