Hi all,

I am putting together a new PC. It has

Prophet 4500 Kyro II gfx card
Asus A7V133 mobo
running under Win98SE

I am having a problem getting the graphics to display correctly, it looks as
if it is only showing 16 (horrible!) colours what ever resolution/colour depth
I try, although the pixel resolution is increasing correctly.

I have:

Updated the Via drivers to 4.32
Flashed the mobo bios to 1005a
Installed the latest Kyro drivers (7.11)
Also tried the drivers on the supplied CD.
Tried the PowerVR reference drivers
Made sure AGP is set to 2x in the Bios
Tried another monitor (same result)
All devices in the device manager are reported as being installed correctly.

So a few questions:

Is there anything else I can try?

Has anyone else got this combination working?

I would be grateful for any help....

Thanks - Jon Hall
