I messed up and installed Windows with a second storage drive already connected, So now the boot information is on my OS drive and storage drive. So now I can't boot to Windows if that second drive is disconnected or if it ever dies.

Is there a way to safely remove the boot info from the second drive?

    Edit: (Windows 7 / 64)

    We need some more details.
    Which version of Windows?
MBR or GPT? - partition table type of the hard drive

Remove your second drive and let windows run a startup repair off your installation disk.

    Have a great day.
