Hello to all ze Guru's : A little help with building my own site

Hello Guru's,

The following post may be too stupid for some of you, but please bear with me and help if you can. Thanks !

I don't know where to start but i want my own site.

I want to be able to post anything and everything i want on it and of course for everyone else out there to read it.

But problems abound:

I dont know html or anything that is one with it. All i know is C,C++ and i am sure u can't build websites with that.

I dont know how to register a domain name. or even what to do if i get one. what i mean is like uploading the site and all that stuff.

I just came across some hosting sites like http://www.bluehost.com
and some more at http://wordpress.org/hosting/

are these sites reliable and be able to satisfy me ?
if not any other options ?

If you want to code you site, then look:
HTML: http://www.w3schools.com/html/
PHP: http://www.w3schools.com/php/default.asp

If you want to have it in easy way, then you can use:
Microsoft Frontpage
There are also other programs which can help you making homepage, just cant remember those now...

 

macromedia dream weaver is very good- if you cant be botherd to pay use the free trial
