So what, she is able to defend her argument. Does not mean she is right, just means she is able to put forth a thought and taken the time to formulate a way to defend it.

There is way more involved than just discrediting the well known figures. How does she refute the Coriolis effect? If the earth is flat, it would not make a difference which "hemisphere" one is on. The water would circle the drain in the same direction regardless of location. It is the simple things that these arguments dismiss because their arguments cannot explain them. Where as the discredited one's theories take all of this into account. That is why the scientific community pays no attention to these kinds of postulates.
