These photos were taken of an Asus UX31A Radiant Black Zenbook thats practically bran new. The first photo I took in the dark. The second I adjusted in photoshop and it really shows how much light is leaking. Is this normal?

    Thanks

The first photo is pretty normal for a laptop, for a desktop I would be a little disappointed though (mainly the brighter parts at the bottom left). Laptops aren't designed for speed or visual brilliance, their main focus is portability.

That look like poor workmanship!! I am sorry for your product that is not up to par. Perhaps return and exchange? or call manufacture?
