Page 1 of the review states that the card is fitted with 6 power phases. Photo of card with heat sink removed on kitguru seems to show only 4 of the 6 power phases actually fitted. On page 7 of the review the thermograph of the back of the card shows the heat concentrated at one end of the VRM array and seems to confirm that not all of the power phases are active. The temperature of the VRM's seems much higher than in the RX 480 review though the back plate could be masking actual temperatures. The temperatures recorded are on the back of the PCB where the components are fitted. Actual component temperatures will certainly be significantly higher.
