Where is PhysX 9.17.0329 installer? Only physx installer exe. I am ejecting / installing some games and they install the oldest physx. Thanks
Thank you. That's why I asked. I can not find the new installer alone, outside the driver package. I am reinstalling games in Win10 Creators, and some "upgrade" to an older version of PhysX. Greetings
Replaced the old files from the PhysX installer with the new ones from the latest driver PhysX-9.17.0329-SystemSoftware Code: https://drive.google.com/open?id=0B1n1dOrFf12MZ2dRZHY3dV96MG8
I have these stored ,among a few others: PhysX-9.12.1031-SystemSoftware-Legacy.msi PhysX-9.13.0604-SystemSoftware-Legacy.msi PhysX 9.19.0218.exe (latest as of end of 2019) An old legacy version which gets older games working and i also install the latest version after the Legacy install. https://www.nvidia.com/en-us/drivers/physx/9_12_1031/physx-9-12-1031-legacy-driver/ (Just posting this in-case anyone else ends up here looking for the correct PhysX for older games). I used to keep a couple of old version Physx folders (ie:v2.5.1,v2.6.1) and just copy them into the Physx 'Engine' folder in program files . Used to work with some old games on ye olde OS but i think you'd be pretty much ok now with the Legacy install ,if needed.
I used to burn a lot things to dvds ,programs ,games + mods ,e.t.c so i have a lot of old stuff saved from over the years. But yeh ,you're right ,you usually only need the latest release of any PhysX installers.
