Watch The Rite with Anthony Hopkins, In my opinion this movie beats everything before it out of the water! Its a must watch in my book/. On the funny side of movies, Look who's back-Netflix This movie gave me stomach cramps from laughing so dam much, Somehow Adolph Hitler is teleported into the modern-world and his faith is somehow tied to a You-tube reporter of sorts.
It seems to be really mixed bag actually some loving it some hating it. I will reserve my judgement until I've seen it. 2 weeks to go. I think I will enjoy it, because of the lore that is there. Which I have read and played all those years a go, with some changes of course. From what I gather most of the non-critic people enjoyed or even loved the film. One issue seems to be that it does not live up to LOTR and it is assumed it is based on WoW.
Wow that's actually out (unintentional pun) But yeah it seems pretty polarized between fans and reviewers http://www.rottentomatoes.com/m/warcraft/ http://www.metacritic.com/movie/warcraft?ref=hp And the fan score http://www.imd b.com/title/tt0803096/ Looks like it's a positive review spam on imdb, this seems to be a 4-5/10 movie at best going on first reviews Males 1275 8.8 Females 111 8.0 Males Aged 18-29 681 9.3 Females Aged 18-29 26 6.6 Males Aged 30-44 228 7.9 Females Aged 30-44 33 7.7 Haha yeah this is totally the fans, 4chan or reddit mass voting 10.
"The fundamental flaw in Warcraft is the same flaw we find in most video game movies: It takes itself too seriously. These games are set in a world full of in-jokes and surreal humour, one that’s inhabited by a race of giant panda bears because the developers at Blizzard really liked one of their own April Fool’s jokes. " This must be the issue. I like the fact that they are going the serious route and following the lore that was built up years a go, to me that is what Warcraft is. Serious bsns. And I expected it to be just first out of many if this ever delivers money, considering it starts from the very beginning of the lore and there is no way one movie is enough. It is good if 3 were enough. I expect it to be around 7/10 on imdb when all is said and done.
If you manage to ignore Jennifer Lawrence, you are into very good movie with great story. Rebecca Romijn is simply much better actress, but we got youngster reboot... :bang:
On other hand, I disliked Civil War. There were same characters. They did not evolve. There was no personal story of any sort. It felt like shopping in local supermarket. You already know everything they can offer. Know all the faces and process is same as last time you were there or any other time before. Not even Bucky changed. They just had him running around with Cap.
Well, for me "the supervillain is here and going to destroy the world" is not a brand new concept at all. Boring. Edit: and yeah, I still laughed on the jokes in Civil War, but not in X-men.
That's kind of right. 1st movie I saw her in was First Class. She was nearly expressionless and felt mostly out of place and character. But I did not care much at the moment. Then came Hunger Games, but unfortunately there I did read book and actually had that much deeper character in memory. And with every movie after and every Hunger Games after, her acting became closer to following than to human. Spoiler Hell, Arnie gives more human expressions and emotions in Terminator than she does on screen.
I just saw x-men apocalypse. While it was a OK movie, it felt very off that most of the things happening are actually wrong. It seemed like one big mash up of events when compared to the comics or cartoon.
Watched "Suicide Squad' last night. It's the best effort from DC since Dark Knight. Still don't know what to think about Leto's Joker. Harley and Deadshot where the whole movie honestly. Overall 6.5/10 (not great but not bad either)
