Well that was lunchbag let down if I ever saw one.Now we get to see smug assed Brady all over the place again.
I went to sleep hours before the game came on, just woke up about 2 hours ago. But no i wasn't going to watch it, my teams were put out or never made it to the playoffs. I enjoy watching football, but if my team is not playing i don't watch.
Well, not necessary large. When super powers are involved size doesn`t matter (right?). I am aware only on these team sports with huge popularity in USA: baseball, football (not soccer, forgive me British guys), basketball, hockey. I have never seen baseball and football match. USA basketball on the other hand was of huge interest here in Russia at 90s because our TV started to show NBA competitions. I was trained as a professional volleyball player, and I have great respect for USA national teams since 80s. But I know nothing about internal tournament/teams. Is it popular? (not the beach volleyball but classic one)
Nice to see Brady get his 5th ring. Too much hate on that guy. He's 39 and playing at the level of a 25 year old. I don't care what system they claim New England has and how easy it is for him, when a guy less than a year from 40 is doing the things he's doing, no system can incorporate that. The guy is a tenacious bastard. I'm a Packers fan, so I'm a Aaron Rodgers guy. But Brady is #1 for sure.
Well I think football is the only sport not played anywhere else. It's probably America's most popular sport but I honestly don't get it. No other sport can you play that little and make so much money.
Ok, so I worked till 10pm last night, got home chilled a bit and around 1am I realised the super bowl was on. I quickly checked the score and learned that it's half time and Patriots are 21-3 down. So I tuned in and watched the 3rd quarter. Atlanta go 28-3 and Brady chucks a pass out of touch. I turn the TV off because I'm getting up for work in 5 hours. This morning I check the result. I'm saying to myself, "I bet Patriots won it in the end" but I deny that thought straight away. When I saw the final score I was shocked. I'm gutted I missed that last quarter. I had a feeling that a come back might be on, I have some fond memories of last minute touch down winners in the recent years, but when Brady misplaced that pass, I took it as a sign and went to sleep. Gutted.
Exactly why they get the money because the average career besides quarterback is about 6 years. They might be a little longer now because of equipment changes and rule changes but still relatively short.
Have you seen the size of these dudes fixing to tackle your ass?....They are Big a** mofo's........a career in that^ is gonna be short and do harm your body....... Big Time!...
I wouldn't watch it even if you paid me. About as exciting as toothache. American sports are just a ripoff of other sports American football=Padded rugby Basketball=Girl's netball Baseball=Girls Rounders Now let the hate begin
It's hardly football when the ball hardly touches the foot.* I think it you removed the hype, and for the Superbowel (no, not a spelling mistake!) removed the additional hype, entertainment, and ads,*a lot less people would watch it.* Entertainment should be additional to the game, a bonus, not the focus.
I have absolutely no interest in this commercial wankfest. From an outsider looking in it just seems like an opportunity for companies to bombard you with adverts, plus an extravagant, over-the-top half time show which seems to take precedent over the game of "football" actually being played. Imagine half time shows at soccer games, it just wouldn't work.
