    I want to know if theres how to add a ripple effect shader (fire, explosions, water) for sweetfx, im just mad on Castlevania Lords of Shadow Ultimate Edition PC, cause the version for xbox have this effect on fire, and on the PC version it's missing!

    Thanks,
    PC F.T.W!

    If you want to apply the effect to whole screen, it might be possible. But if you only want to apply it to the specific parts, I don't think so. It needs to be hardcoded into the game.

    Ripple Effect (Water, Fire, Explosions)

    Do you know if theres such mod to apply this "ripple" effect? even if it has to be on the whole screen? I find it so cool, i was researching, and i found that it can be made with pixel shader, vertex shader... btw i dont know anithing about those applications

    If you know how to add this to sweetfx please give tips, links!

    Thanks!

    Dx10/11 games don't work on Win8.1 with those old injectors. eFX fixes that. It's still in alpha tho.

    Here's the verison i'm using right now. Should be the latest version of the Injector.
    Some shaders aren't working. Not sure why. I probably did something wrong there.

    There is no need for Sarcasm I was just asking.

    I'm not aware of what is going on as far as development is concerned, all I know is it has been a while since Windows 8.1 was released and there isn't a working version of SweetFX.
    I was just curious as to whether there was going to be a fully compatible version or not.

    I appreciate the work the people who make SweetFX and EFX do.

    Boulotaur made the injector. He also made the Gaussian Shader. But this one doesn't work with eFX yet. I still hope that someone ports it over to eFX. I really love the gaussian bloom/unsharpmask.

    The package i made has all sweetFX 1.5.1 shaders in there. Everything else doesn't work yet. I didn't even get SMAA/FXAA to work in DX9 for some reason.

    The Delightly Linux blog have posted several recent blog entries lately that review SweetFX and every effect in detail, with many examples and explanations of what the various settings do.

    It starts with an overview of SweetFX and then continues in later blog entries with a look at each effect.

    Hmm, maybe you can put the link into the FAQ, or the first post as a tutorial?

    You'd think that it (sacrcasm) wouldn't be but it does get quite old seeing the same question that had already been answered on the first page..

    Main Post:
    FAQ:
    Of course the main post does not state the eFX injector is win8.1 compatible nor does the FAQ post mention eFX but it is quite implied that eFX is the future injector for SweetFX which in turn means win8.1 compatibility.

    Anyone here get SweetFX to work with Titanfall (full version, not beta) on Windows 8? I've tried everything I could think of, using a 64-bit injector, moving the sfx files to the bin folder, etc. It only seems to "work" when it's in the bin folder (bin/x64_retail) because a log is created, but it's just a black screen. There are no errors in the log and it does log when I enable and disable sfx. If I put the files anywhere else, the game runs but doesn't detect SFX.

    Help!

    ///

    Hello =)

    I've been looking for a while and can not find the solution to a problem, so I ask:

    Does anyone know how you can achieve the "Bloom" effect of "ENB" on DX11 games? Is there any version of SweetFX to achieve this effect?

    Can you do that in DX11 games somehow?

    Thanks for any help.

    Boulotaur2024's SweetFX version has Gaussian Bloom/Blur/Unsharpmask.
    Works on DX9-11. You get better results in DX11 though.

    Download

    Hey, thanks for that link, but I try on AC Black Flag and NFS Rivals and the games crash at start.. and try with Batman AC on DX9 mode and the Game start.. but the Gaussian Blur config not seem to change anything. Is there any extra requirements?

    Thanks.

    Edit: NFS Rivals start on x64 mode.. but Gaussian Blur and Fim Grain configs not seem to change anything..

    Those configs works for you?
