I'd love to see some pictures of everyone's AMD rigs, so please feel free to share some images. :)

I've just finished rebuilding mine, which I've called The Red Baron. It's whisper quiet. :nerd:

    Thanks. :)

They're Noctua Industrial 2,000 RPM fans, but i control them using a Lamptron Fan Controller. At half speed or lower they're silent ,but they move good air and most importantly have excellent static pressure ratings. :)

Since you threw in your system with intel CPU, I'll post mine too. Don't think many will like it, but some pieces may be of interest.
Not cleaned in a year, but should not be that dusty since it is on desk.

Ar 3rd picture, it is not dust. Color is scratched from metal net. I may paint it. I wanted to place there AMD logo long time ago, but I do not see it fit since I have intel's CPU.

    Config Details:
    1st image:
    - bottom Seagate 2x 500GB 7200rpm raid 0
    - above them WD 1TB green 5400rpm (previously in external enclosure which started to fail)
    - PSU: FSP Aurum series - very cool PSU even under load, very stable Voltage
    - above PSU: ASUS Xonar Essence ST
    - above is HD7970 with quite modified cooling
    2nd image:
    - Noctua HN-D14 => Since CPU is very cool I use its airflow to reduce PCB temperature of GA (tested with IR-thermometer)
    - 4x low profile memories: Kingston 1600MHz CL9/9/9/24 1T
    3rd image:
    - Blu-ray
    - Vertex 4 128GB
    - Vertex 460a 240GB
    Fans:
    - Back 12'' Arctic - noisy as hell if on medium/high rpm, spins on like 20% to keep quiet
    - Side same 12'' Arctic as on Back, same slow speed
    - Front top 12'' Fractal design - quiet even at 70% of max rpm
    - Front bottom 14'' Fractal design - quiet at 100% of rpm (I love this one.)
    - PSU - 14'' Fractal design like on front (exchanged since original made so much noise while PSU was not even under load)

Yeah, I have like $25 case, but on other hand I do not care about it and will cut and drill it anywhere I need.
Power cabling is tight in right places, PSU is not modular, so I place cables where I do not need airflow.
Those small cables from fans look all over place, but are not, they go again on surface of case. (With exception of one on 2nd picture which is connected to side panel fan. And as can be seen it pulls others out since I left it connected.)

I have in check few cases like HAF XB EVO / Thermaltake Core X2 (for AMD Zen build since my current MB will not fit) / Thermaltake Core X9 (enough to fit my current HW).

I'll change it in case Fiji XT / VR (or r9-390x if named as such) has water cooling as current case will not be as effective since some hot air already goes through each exhaust.

    holly **** :puke2: lol

Just curious.... what kind of case is AMDMatt using? Looks like a modern mid tower of some kind and seems to "fit" everything without being a giant over sized case....might not be a huge pain to travel with:)

Also i wonder if those 290x fans are blowing out or sucking in air? I guess blowing out since it be a lot of hot air

LO OMG what is that , reminds me of my first PC i built many years ago

Anyway Nice looking Rig Matt :banana:, I see you have a superFlower PSU and don't have LED connectors as mine has , have they stopped doing them.

I won't post mine as i'm still with the green team atm , but that's all going to change when i can get my hands on the R390x HBM card (After i've seen some benchmarks and a good review)

Here's mine. Specs at the left. I bought it prebuilt at Newegg and added a BluRay drive and a second Hard drive. I also switched out a single 8gb RAM stick for 2 4gb Corsairs. The case is an Enermax Coenus.

ITX build (Cooltek U2 case) rocking A10-6790K that was kindly provided by AMD (thanks to Hilbert's RNG that happened to favour me :D).

It has firewire card (for legacy video editing) and fan changed to NF-F12 PWM.

Monk would have a field day with that. Remember when he rearranged the keys on the Captain's keyboard because they weren't in alphabetical order?

Sorry Matt for being rude but your main priority is to reply people about driver and their concerns not posting fanboy images.

AMD Roy credibility s finished buy posting that driver will be out in last weak.
