    Hello lads,

Sometimes when i power up my pc windows freezes on boot, during that circle motion thing. I have to hard reset it to be able to try again and enter windows and then its all good. I have this happen since i made some hard resets maybe something got damaged. The only solution i found in the past that works is to reinstall windows. So any gurus have any commands or solutions for this annoyance?

    Thanks a lot maties.:)

Did you install anniversary update? Seems somewhat common issue for some people to experience freezes..

    Huge reddit thread with description

I came across a youtube video showing a fix for this, you just have to disable fastboot under power options on windows. I´ll use my computer as normal, see if it fixed it and report back back. Thanks guys.

Have had fastboot disabled since 8.1. Do not like having to go through extra steps each and every time wanting to do a true cold boot.

A normal restart performs a full boot

Disable hibernation, it will also disable fast boot + saves some space on your ssd.
