Anyone know if the X7 works with Linux?
I'm assuming; it would since it works with just about everything else, in non-windows / mac environments it's controlled with the phone app?

    Also; no review Rob?

Some Creative audio chipsets work, some don't. My Recon3D worked as does my X-Fi Go!. I'm using OpenSuSE.

I'm using the X7, if you have problem using it through Linux, you can use Bluetooth to the X7 and play audio via Bluetooth, and use a smartphone to access the control panel to change any settings, its a very impressive external sound card, and very versatile and quality is outstanding. have my PS4 hooked up to it, my PC, and home theater system, my phone, and Sonos wireless speaker system all from that one unit.

Just to be clear though, you are running a Linux distro?
