I'm reading everywhere about complaints of single-core performance on Android vs iphones. It seems gamecube emulation also benefits from a faster single-core. Yet, nothing on ios as far as relevant emulation for gamecube. Or even PSP honestly. Android on the other hand gets a lot of support but is held back by such garbage hardware and incremental upgrades. :bang: I just want a phone that can handle gamecube games at lunch. And no, I do not not a stupid switch. That thing looks horrible and is too big to lug around work.
Probably because emulation is looked upon as illegal in many cases(you can argue you already own the game). As such, Apple will not approve such applications for said reasons. If there are any out there in the app store, they're probably not very good and quite limited in capabilities.
Playing a gamecube game on your phone, any phone, will blast through your battery. Run near any phone at full tilt with even half brightness and it'll be dead in a few hours. How desperate can you be to play games. If you want a device properly made to do this, people make legit portable wii's, they literally cut the motherboard and turn them into handhelds. That or some sort of switch style windows based tablet and a controller. What you're hoping for, ultra portability and high end emulation, you're not going to get it really.
Do people realize how demanding Emulations is most phones mobile cpus simple dont have STP to deal with it. And even it it very likely it will make the device extremely hot, and throttle the speeds to keep it from melting Emulation isnt the problem the problem is most Mobile cpu are trash. and if it isnt like said above, it will push cpu harder then actual software built for and will cause lot more heat then it designed for and most likely throttle it.
