AMD Ryzen: New Speculation on prices and release

    That part is the most critical for me. It's pointless spending that kind of money if you're going to have to deal with bugs for the next 12months.

    CPU errata aside, in the end it all comes down to software/drivers + os support.

    You can easily see this kind of thing with many mainstream motherboard reviews. Poor to average reviews in the beginning, a lot better after a year or so. Expensive motherboards aren't immune, just more s*** that can and sometimes does go wrong.

    I purchased an X1900XTX at about $1100 on launch day... you can probably pick one up now for what 50 dollars.. probably less xD

    Just wait and see what the official prices will be instead of arguing over speculations.

    not sure why anyone doesnt get the delay of the 4C (6C).

    you produce massive amounts of 8C cpus, so that at launch you can sell good clockers as BE, lower ones as non-BE.
    and any processors with defective "parts", will be sold as 6 or 4 core etc.

    the masses want cheap cpus (so mainly 4/6c units), which by then will be available in large numbers.
