Yep, can't get AM to run, and couldn't be bothered using old drivers (though I just might, as I'll get some decent scores I'm sure).

03 seems to be responding well though, getting just under 60k. So gonna try break that 60k mark with the GTX 460. Should be doable.

I added a couple of cups to the teams results too

I'm getting a bit bored gaming at the moment, so saw this thread and decided to go for it.

I'll try submit a few more today from the crappy work PC's lol *edit have my work E5200 benching a little faster in wPrime.

Dublin_Gunner
when you run 03 drop those other tests.
just run the first 4 tests gt1,2,3,4 hit esc. before the cpu tests start...all other tests have no effect on score at all and will just heat up your card.
for 03 even just restarting after a run will give your score a boost on the next run.
03 is card clock hungry even slower cpu with high vga clocks will do ok.

with 05 first 3 tests is all your scored on hit esc. before cpu tests,o5 is mostly all cpu speed.

you guys without links and using ss's look at my sample in first post
cpu,ram timings, gpuz, for 3d app settings resolution and detail results box must be shown

it wont be easy gaining spots from here on out..to move 3 more spots it will take over 1000 points? you guys up for the challange?

Only 20 points to get into top 80 though we're actually tied on 81.

I've been doing them; superpi, 3dmark 2001 se, 03, 05, 06, pcmark 05, aquamark etc

Not all benchmarks give you points though, so check the list first (i.e 3dm11 doesn't give you hwbot points for some reason).

Just got ranked 16th for my gtx 460 there in Unigine Heaven. Quite pleased with that, 1.6 points

*just did another run, and jumped to 14th, 1.7 points yay me!

yeah noticed just done 3dmark 2001se and trying maxxmem tommorow, my RIIE and corsair 2000mhz sticks might be able to show off there, how should I do it? drop the cpu multi a couple of steps and raise blk right? Should I keep volts the same and try or do something different? does timing matter? lol lots of questions Il try figure it out, tired now

You'll definitely want to clock them as high as you can, while retaining tight enough timings. You'll probably need a little extra volts, but don;t go too crazy on overvolting them.

AFAIK keeping the CPU fairly high will help too, as the mem controller is on-die, though I'm open to correction on that point.

Yep, perfectly normal. Your scores are based on what you get in comparison to 1) everyone else (global) or 2) your hardware

yeah its like if I got 7 sec pi with my chip then it would get seriously nice points, your chip can do it easilly so points reflect this, 0.1 is pretty good considering what we are up against

try for 5 seconds

it will be hard to run anything but the 1/8 divider and get baseclock up there

i was just testing my new fugly palit 96gt with my 920 gaming rig
i use kingston hypers that run ok ish.my other set are on my other classy benching rig they run a bit better.
A good i7 920 is aok for points getting without too much hassles.
this run was good for 10 points just to show you guys it dosnt take a whole lot.on my bloated w7 24/7 gamer

Uploaded with ImageShack.us

heres my settings but i know this combo pretty well the chip does not like vvt over 1.30v even 240 fsb only 1.30 and pll i set lower and it responds
i go 5.0 3d on this chip with only 1.49v on sub zero cooling.

With my work crappy PC's E5200 @ stock, around 31 seconds. My Phenom x4 at 2.86Ghz is about 14s

That's with 2 & 4 threads respectively.

SuperPi however is much faster on my E5200, around 22s, and only 26s on my Phenom x4. Core 2 architecture is obviously a lot better for SuperPi than K10.
