Default Discrepancies in 3dmark and timespy - 02-07-2017, 03:29 | posts: 239 | Location: Redland Bay Australia

Hi All,

Don't know if anyone else has this problem. If I OC Asus Strix x 2 to +70gpu and +400mem 3dmark (Dx 11) locks up almost immediately.

If I run Time spy with same OC - complete's run approx 12000 3dmarks.

Same thing happens if I run a game in Dx 11 or Dx 12 - the Dx 11 will lock, the Dx 12 title runs as smooth as.

Any ideas for a fix?

Thanks, Nate.

DX12 is easier on GPU power than DX11 so it lets a little higher clocks.
You have simply oversteped your GPU oc threshold.
