I have gotten a PS3 and want to know if folding has any effects on the life expectancy or any other adverse issues related to heat when folding 18 to 24 hrs a day?

    Please advise, Thanks!

I had my PS3 folding 24/7 in the summer (>32°C room). It's a phat one bought around April 2008 and it's still running perfectly fine. So I'd say your PS3 will do fine as it's probably a slim one with a smaller cpu if I remember correctly which would bring heat down..
