AMD Catalyst 12.4a (8.961.3 May 7) AMD Official Hotfix

**** i didnt read it.. I was on my phone at 3am couldnt sleep, so was looking at guru3d. Decided to post and find out in the morning.. shish.. I guess i shouldnt skim when im tired and groggy.

 

Oh I'm having issues with my 4350. Wish there was a hotfix for that.

 

in diablo3? could still try this set (or atiumdag.dll from it)

 

When I run the setup for the Mobility Mod, it says Failure to install package. I have a ATI Mobility Radeon HD 4500/5100 Series, am I doing something wrong when I extract the files from the zip? Should I be extracting them in a certain location?

Had to uninstall from Catalyst setup, restart, then reinstall from Mobility Mod Setup

 

i;m just uninstalling the 12.4 and installing this hotfix even if it's for 4000 series and below.

 

I eventually did this too, and alas as AMD said, it did absolutely nothing new.

 

How about a hotfix for random hard lock-ups (even USB power goes down) on 12.4 whenever watching hardware-accelerated video, be it streamed (flash) or not?

 

Just try the April 18th dated drivers, Catalyst 12.5 beta. They may prove to be to your liking, as they are a much better set overall.

You don't have an HD 4 series or below, so this hotfix is meaningless to you.

 

Nevermind I "fixed" it by uninstalling hardware video decoding component using ATI Install Manager and it's fine now. That was just an angry comment because there isn't a single new driver version that fixes things without breaking other things.

 

Please can everyone repair the download link for Mobility modede Driver?

 

Both Desktop and Mobility download locations are dead.
