I bought a new printer for my wife to print photos. Epson Ecotank 2550.

The old software she had doesn't work with the new printer and it didn't come with any new software.

Her needs are pretty simple: some basic editing would be nice, but what she really needs is the ability to composite a page before printing it.

I was just wondering if anyone had any suggestions. A quick search turns up a lot of iffy items, but it would be nice to know what actually doesnt suck. I dont mind paying a small amount ($20?) for the right sort of thing.

Gimp? That's a pretty powerful free application

I thought about GIMP, but I don't want this to become a tech support issue for me. Was hoping for something a bit friendlier.

    Hi there

As above I would have look on GIMP or Paint.net or Photoscape which are good SW with good features, GIMP is very powerful photo editor and many times I rather use GIMP than Photoshop

    Hope this helps

    Thanks, Jura
