Oh man
Thats a shame you were affected by the flooding i heard about.
I do know what its like getting flooded and storm damage I hope you are doing well and get the repairs done.

As for waterproofing let gets in the cracks if too light a coat and eraser is easy to clean.
Temp probe should be used till you get the hang of the temp swings but if you have to wing it between the mb and software you can gey away with it.
just keep core temp open and check your max temps in benches idle wont heat you up but dont forget you can make big temp swings depending on the pot/volts/chip/bench.
Start easy with 03 then work your way to other benches if you have no temp probe.
you can get a cheap dmm and temp probe combo (only -20c or so) for 30usd .

You should be ok if you have to go no probe using the GTL software so you only have higher voltage for shorter pierods and not on boot.

That all said i really wish i could help with the repairs and fixing up the garden and do hope you make a quick recovery

Cheers dude, shame I couldn't run the other two

No not done any yet, my gf has her 30th Bday on Fri and we just got back from a 4 night trip to Paris as her present so not had money to burn lol

Though I have thought about getting one of those 20th anniversary Pentium K's for my 1st ever sub zero run, think it'll be cool to make one of those my 1st. The chips themselves shouldn't be too expensive either
