    Hello fellow gurus!
My brother wants to upgrade from his ancient Core2Duo to a new platform. He has a very small budget around 150 eu .He uses his computer for logo design, uses a LOT Photoshop and software used for media ,design creation.
He already bought an WD Blue 500 GB ,has a new computer case and a new PSU.
He told me that he likes AMD and FX6300 + Asrock 970 Pro is what he thinks that will fit the bill and a very good upgrade from what he has .
I wondered if FM2 platform is more suitable, for sure there is a A8,even an A10 CPU there almost as good as FX6300.And having an APU is getting GPU free, the FX 6300 + Asrock 970 combo needs also a GPU and he is short on cash.
Gurus, can you say something on this matter?

Well photoshop is gonna use a gpu so I'd go with the A10 or see if someone can donate a graphics card for the FX6300.

One of the artists I work with uses an A10 apu in his personal workstation.
Runs Photoshop and illustrator fairly well.
For the budget Apu with fast ram will be great for the jobs you described.
