I have removed my H100i and installed a Noctua NH-D15 just ran Aida64 and the Air cooler was quieter and had lower temps.

i7 4790k at stock room temp at 24c

H100i system stability test 29c idle -78c ( H100i set custom profile between balanced and quiet)

    Noctua D15 stability test 30 idle - 70c ( fans set at 40% ramp up to 70% at 80c)

I am really surprised will keep Noctua in main PC and put H100i in office PC.

just been gaming for 45mins AC black flag, CPU maximum temp 55c was around 47c most of the time

Did you mod the bracket on the H100i first?

The Intel H100i bracket doesn't tighten properly, you need to add washers / washer substitutes to pull it fully against the CPU

I will do that when I install it in my office PC it has i5-4590 so H100i will keep that nice and cool I will set at H100i to quiet.

I keep mine on Quiet for my FX, only ever set it higher for CPU demanding games / benchmarks, doesn't really seem to drop the temps much more anyway, maybe over long periods of high CPU time it would help more on performance

i used to have a h100i on my 3930k. max temp @ 4.6Ghz was ~ 75c. I then put it in my HTPC/LAN Rig which consists of a 4690K. I OC to 4.5Ghz @ 1.25v and the h100i would easily go over 80c. I even added washers to make the bracket extra tight since there were issues with the cooler and 1150 mobos, But it was the same

How do you think this would work for the AMD 9590?
