how come we're not doing the chimp:banana: it's going to be a tight one between EVGApes and OCN I think
i dont think they will as it no longer for total points, it now for chimp point witch seem to be 10% of 24avg avg over 5 months so the big teams have got a big hill to clime
ah yup I just noticed the chimp point thing spose it gives the little teams a better chance seeing as how EVGA and OCN have won it like forever now they have to put up a bit more of a fight
It's only for the top 10 teams .. ? oh wow so it's a 'look my e-peen is bigger then yours' kind of thing. Kind of silly when you think about it.
Not anymore, I wish I could but the Energy prices here went through the roof, the Netherlands is amongst the most expensive country's in the world in terms of energy costs (20~25 EUR/cent per KWh). Next to that over the past year or two the power consumption in my little office / test lab nearly doubled up. All the testing and equipment eats away in power consumption like a homeless guy that tastes pizza So I had to make a choice there, but I might join again as I really have the urge to do that.
it may have been in previous years, and most of this year's teams were from the top 10, but Hardware Canucks [21st] and TechPowerUp [27th] weren't. If you want to take part in the next one i can ask our CC captain for info on who to ask. ... and yes it is just a pissing contest between the teams
