Need help finding some FPS games.

I'm currently playing BF4 and really enjoy it. But I need to find some new upcoming games that can be pre-ordered. I know about the COD game, but just not sure about it. I have been looking into the starwars battle front game. But it seems to be a 3rd person shooter ( not aiming down the sights).

Does anyone know of anything that's being released this year?

Topcat, Battlefront can be switched from 3rd to 1st person on the fly.

 

Do not know about anything new, but for the next 11 hours you can pick up Insurgency off of steam for under $4, normally goes for $14.99. Has PvP, and co-op. Runs off half life 2 engine, has aim down sights, normal, and modded servers. Not a bad game for the most part, can have some issues on some servers, but no different then most of the AAA games. Check it out.

 

UT= Unreal Tournament. Its in pre-alpha stage though, still.

 

Where did you guys see that battlefront has the look down sights?

 

unfortunately bro there aren't any significant AAA shooters coming soon the only fps i'm excited about is Mirrors edge coming Q1 2016 and rainbow 6 siege, other than that u just have to play crysis and wolfenstein games again, or if ur interested in COD every year installment, it's not looking good for AAA fps at the moment.

 

Mirrors Edge has Zero guns you can use, EA confirmed no guns. So it isn't a FPS.

 

Rising Storm 2 and SQUAD ... I'm really hype for those games. The Rising Storm 1 was one of the best WW2 shooter i played in my life

 

There is no ADS in Battlefront. What he meant is you can switch between 1st and 3rd person on the fly. You can also see this in the E3 presentation.

 

i've seen squad gameplay, BF4 pisses all over it, in weapon models, graphics, movement, weapon sounds....squad looks dated compared to bf4.

 

Squad seems more tactic-based than BF4. BF4 is basically turning into a CoD as per gunplay, altough its still better.

Besides you're actually building bases and planning.

 

If you would force people to spawn at leader only* in BF4 there would be more squad teamplay. Like in BF2. Todays Squads in BF3 and BF4 is just a gimmick, no focus and some perks if you teamplay.

*and (populated) Servers are rare.
