    Hello folks

This will be my first post at guru3d, but i have in many years been watching on the sideline :)

The issue is that my two AMD 7850 cards are not at optimal usage, shows ASUS GPU Tweak. Sometimes as low as 50%! While my CPU seems to be around 85-98 or so in usage in eg. Battlefield 3

    My specs are:
    AMD Phenom II x4 955 @ 4ghz
    Gigabyte ga990fxa d3
    4 gig Kingston @1600mhz
    Thermaltake 530w 80+

I have had many suggestions and i'm almost confident that it's the CPU but i would rather hear you guys out before investing in a new CPU. THANKS! :)

If v-sync is off, then yes, you are definitely cpu limited. However, if v-sync is on and you are maintaining 60 fps, things are working exactly as they should.

+1 this makes sense, definitely check the v-sync

I just noticed your psu and I'd say you're pushing that thing extremely hard. Personally, I like much more headroom. Just something to consider...

I think those video cards are being bottleneck by that cpu, but if everything is playable, dont worry about it, I would be more concerned with that psu tbh
