Hello. I'm using a Gigabyte motherboard. Until recently I've had no problems, but now whenever I turn on the computer, it will stay at the Gigabyte screen, where it gives options for Bios, flashing, etc., until I press a key. Everything seems to work fine after that. Anyone had this issue before? Thanks in advance and let me know if there is any other useful info I could provide.

    Tried resetting the BIOS/CMOS ?

Make sure the HDD is primary boot device

Pausing can indicate an error is being detected during POST.

See if you have the Pause on Error options set in the BIOS. The default for most Mobo's is 'All but Keyboard'.

I had a similar problem with a keyboard that had few keys stuck. Try with a different keyboard and see what happens.

Looks like I got it. Just switching usb ports that I had keyboard, mouse, etc, plugged into did the trick. Tried 3 times and it seemed to work. Not sure why as I'm still using all of the ports on the MB, but I'll take it. Thanks everyone and Happy Holidays!
