The 16.11.4 drivers were just announced on Twitter by AMD but they are not yet showing on the AMD website. Just a heads up. (Tweet pulled yesterday)

    Fixed Issues

H.264 content playback may experience playback issues on internet browsers with hardware acceleration when also running gaming applications or content.

Radeon R9 Fury Series products may experience minor graphical corruption in Titanfall™2 when inside a titan.

    Known Issues

DOOM™ may experience a crash when launched using the Vulkan™ API on some Graphics Core Next products.

DOTA™2 may experience a crash when launched using the Vulkan™ API on some Graphics Core Next products.

Flickering may be experience while playing Overwatch™ in the main menu or viewing character models using AMD CrossFire mode.

FIFA 17™ may experience an application hang or black screen on launch for some select Hybrid Graphics or AMD PowerXpress mobile configurations.

H.264 content may experience blocky corruption when streaming using P2P content players on some Radeon RX 400 series graphics products.

They just pulled the twitter post. My guess is these drivers got pulled last second due to a bug or they were premature and just not ready yet.

Hnmm, is DX12 patch for Civ VI out? This should be a reason to driver release postpone.

It's a good thing that AMD acknowledge the Vulkan problems in drivers but it's bad to see the Vulkan support is going to be the same Mantle had. :3eyes:

There are not a gazillion AAA titles using Vulkan right now.

IF AMD really want to push Vulkan as an alternative to DX1x the drivers should work fine them.

I don't think AMD really cares that much about Vulkan, compared to DX12 anyway. DX12 is basically the MS equivalent, which to my knowledge generally works fine. As far as I'm aware, most Windows games use DX12 instead of (or in addition to) Vulkan, so it's not like users are limited in that regard.

In Linux, it seems Vulkan support is fine with closed-source drivers, and open-source drivers are catching up real fast.

Now just hoping the new Windows 10 Insider build coming out today fixes the crossfire issue from the last couple of insider builds.

How is the performance in BF1? I noticed it took a big dip with the 11.3 drivers compared to 11.2.

I think Doom "may crash" is why they had it access denied and removed the Tweet.
They tried to fix it before the end of the day but couldn't so they figured they might as well release the drivers how they are.

Not driver related but just passing it on, Windows 10 Insiders build 14971(just released) still has iossues with crossfire not sure if it does with SLI. Fix is to revert to insider build 14951, all the builds since them freezes the 3d app as soon as crossfire kickes in, but not windows ie can ctrl alt tab and sign out.
