    Hi guys

I have a doubt sbout core temps difference

    I have here a 3770k @4.5 not delided with H100i cooler

Did the small test in prime, the one that stress the cpu in the max and i saw a huge core temp differences between the cores

    Take a look:

    Core0 - 63C

    Core1 - 74C

    Core2 - 76C

    Core3 - 71C

Is this normal? I just remounted the cooler and reaplyed the TIM, a MX4 and nothing changed

    What should i do?

Another question, this temps are normal to a non delided 3770 @4.5 with 1.23vcore with h100i installed?

    Thanks guys

    Yeah pretty much normal.
The sensors are only calibrated at TjMax (throttling temp) so the further they are away, the more error prone.

Your temps are quite a large difference, I would ignore the one thats low and take an approximation of the other 3.
Make sure that the test you were running was going ok on all 4 cores.

And the temps for the 4.5 non delided 3770k is it normal? It`s stable but i changed my h100 to a new h100i and i just runnned a couple of minutes to see the performance, about 5 minutes in prime selecting the more stress test i got this temps

Sorry, cant help you with the temps accuracy, but they do seem a bit high.
Then again, Ivybridge with lids on do get hot.

The higher the ambient temp, the higher the CPU temps.
If your rooms a bit warm or the case/cooler recycles warm air, it wont help.

Temps are normal readings are normal.

My 3770k is delidded and the temperature difference across the cores is in the range of a couple of degrees only.

Here's an IBT run for comparison for you:

these temps are actually pretty good without delidding, they are about mine with 4.5Ghz

    Thanks

But with IBT my temps are much higher than prime

    See if it`s normal

    Core0 - 73

    Core1 - 82

    Core2 - 85

    Core3 - 79

I know that Ivy is a hot chip when you not delide it, but considering i`m using a H100i this temps are not so hot?

    Thanks

But this temps i got in prime, with IBT the temps are way hotter, normal?

    Core0 - 73

    Core1 - 82

    Core2 - 85

    Core3 - 79

yeah with latest binaries LinX is a hell of a stress test and don't forget Ivy can take up to 105 °C per Core instead of 98 °C like Sandy had. I am testing myself with LinX only e.g. i make 1h Run with max memory and if i pass WITHOUT WHEA Errors i'm good to go, i never had any issues with that method of testing i play games 99% of the time on my rig so that testing is enough for me.

    I tested 20 times linX and 19 hours prime, it`s stable :)

I`m worried about the temps even using a H100i, i thought with the H100i i would get mid 70`s but i`m getting about 85 in the hottest core with IBT Max stress

Should i worry or remount or something like that?

    Thanks again

Mate you can't beat ivy bridge temps - and that's about the size of it.

They are a poor design and simply run hot.

You could probably use a H50, H80, or a H100i and I bet you would get VERY near the same temps.

    It's the chip.

Do not WORRY imo, as you could game for an entire day and not even come close to the temps you get in prime.

No, i was playing now and the max temp was about 60C

I`m from Brazil, i bought some Gelid Extreme TIM, when it arrives i`ll change my MX-4, let`s see the difference

Anyway, if you said the temps are ok i`ll be more relaxed, i was a lot worried about it, thinking that something was really wrong
