Oh man, that was the age of the rise of scumbags. We had pensioners and other citizens queuing outside of Dafina and Jezda's banks in the hope of miraculously doubling their fortune. A fool and his money are easily parted.
I was in my mum's womb for the first 3 months, then I just screamed, smiled, ate and slept through the rest of it :bounce:
I was 5, lived in Volgograd back then. Industry was in chaos, everybody was trying to proof him/her being owner of a facility. Lack of food became less of a problem, with lesser tension between USA and Russia. Western culture influence growing stronger in Russia. I remeber asking my mom if I could watch PlayBoy on a color TV my dad recently bought. She redirected me to dad, and dad said "yes". Sometimes I think of being born a bit earlier and live in USSR a bit more. It was not ideal time to live in, but people who experienced it, can compare it with modern world. Image being able to say I lived in USSR in 2050th. Now that would scare kids :flip2::eek3: Edit: ****, I am old on internet now. Damn you for reminding me, OP.
I was mashed on E playing Donkey Kong Country for most of 93 , twas some game for the chill out I was 21 . I just checked. DKC was 94 ...93 must have been a chillout year
Born in '72 so waiting for a good job the next year, probably wondering why I got rid of an Atari 800XL for a Sega console that had Hang-On pre-loaded into the memory.
I was in Germany in 93. My parents were still in the military then. I can back in the fall and lived with my grand parents until I graduated high school
