Looks as if everything is molded out of plastic. But good lighting though, shame as likely the actual games that use it will not have that quality of lighting.

It's true. He contacted me. I gave him full power over my settings so he can do what he wants really. I always do this for myself so I can get awesome playthroughs. The mod author is doing final tweaks of his mod around my ENB settings. Look for it in the next days I guess.

Wanny gave me an itch... or it may have been that bloodsucker sausage I ate.

STALKER: Shadow of Chernobyl + Autumn Aurora 2 + some ENB settings.

Those games eat downsampling for breakfast really. Can't get enough.

    Dark Souls 2

Nothing too fancy, SRWE was used to play in borderless fullscreen with a resolution of 2560x1440 since while downsampling works up to 2560x1600 (My native is 1920x1200 so the effect is pretty small.) it only displays the 16:9 based resolutions in windowed mode, speaking of that you also get black borders outside of that aspect ratio unfortunately.

Game offers only FXAA for AA so I keep it disabled thus the aliasing and since I'm only using something comparably to ~1.5 - 2x SSAA there's still a number of jaggies in the images.

Playing area by area clearing them out gradually until enemies stop spawning which they now do after some ten kills or so, easy way to get souls, items and such and make longer trips simpler by removing the opposition permanently but it's a bit of a grind.

Oh and you do get X360 icons on PC and the keyboard bindings are bad but functional, you have to double click with the mouse for power attacks as well but it works, somehow.

And yeah that purple stuff is some issue with AMD (SSAO related?), unsure if From tested on those GPU's or if it's caused by me forcing 16x AF via CCC or something else but it's just a minor annoyance, framerate is great but there's not much to look at visually although each area is very well crafted and otherwise fairly detailed.

Visual quality usually goes from low to high although in the exe there's a reference to Ultra quality but I can't enable it, just resets to default (medium) when I try.

EDIT: Speaking of downsampling the game offers any resolution otherwise supported by your monitor so SRWE won't be too useful to go to 4K or such although on Nvidia you have a better alternative for really high-resolution gaming.

    Much appreciated as always Jonas.

DS2 is looking pretty damn good. A couple of those shots remind me of he old point an click games like Myst and such. Also, does AO work?

Just wait until the Cheat-Engine scripts start appearing for hiding the player model and messing with the camera then we can really see some interesting shots of the game compared to what a amateur like me does, sadly if it's that easy to make changes in this game then hacking will be pretty prevalent just like in the first one, or at least I had a lot of issues with that and switched to offline mode after a while.

Also the aliasing is pretty easy to see since the visuals are pretty clean aside from the distant DOF effect, unfortunately the R9 280 / 7970 has some sort of (bios?) limit to 2560x1600 without causing the GPU drivers to crash when using the current downsampling tutorial so that's what I am limited to.
(Just started using SRWE however so maybe via that program running the games in windowed borderless mode is doable on higher resolutions.)

EDIT: Oh and whatever that purple stuff is, either some soft-shadow issue, anisotropic filtering conflict or SSAO error, at worst neither and a issue with current drivers or AMD hardware which will need a patch, or a new driver.
(Should have been detected during Q&A if they used AMD GPU's but what do I know, unfortunately I doubt most studios actually properly test on a wide range of GPU's from different vendors, even less so when testing various drivers for both.)
