    Owners of Gigabyte 980 G1 what's your stock boost speed at firestrike ? One of my cards boosts to 1380 when one card is my pc. But on SLI, seems that the second card holds boost back to 1354 ? Second card is lazy ? 344.75 driver
    Thanks

    That's normal. Nvidia seems to have messed up something to do with power the cards gain in SLI. It's seems everyone with 980s in SLI are having an issue getting both cards to boost evenly.

    I was watching my G1 all last night with a hardcore BF4 session.

    I thought the card would just boost to 1380 and stay there but it's all over the place.
    Granted it stays maxed with lots of things happening on screen but while just running from A-B then the card was going as low as 1100.

    Doesn't seem to cause any issues on a single card though.

    Thanks Reddoguk.
    I'll keep an eye on it. I hate rma'ing a good card. Though my second "lazy" card Asic quality is 68%
    First one is 75%

    RMA for 26Hz ? On a dynamic boost clock ?

    Yeah gotta agree, I don't even think they would consider that a valid reason for RMA.

    @OP:
    You could try to flash a modded bios with a fixed clock on both cards and see if that helps you.

    Have you tried to simply switch the cards around?
    You know to test if is it the card or drivers.

    I'd be surprised if all 980 G1's boosted to 1380.

    I think 1329 is guaranteed and anything else is just a bonus.

    A friend of mine has G1's in SLI and both his cards boost to 1380 while solo. Pop both in together and the second card seems you get 1-2% less mhz. I have no idea if it's a driver issue or not. Could be intended for all i know.
