My Intel USB 3 ports have stopped working and when checking the device manager is says:

USB xHCI Compliant Host Controller - This device cannot start (Code 10)

I would try installing Windows 10 drivers my self but it seems Intel do not actually provide any?!

The USB 3 ports powered by an ASMedia chip work fine, its just the Intel ones that have stopped working.

Is there a Windows 10 driver I can download somewhere or is this some other issue?

    Nervermind lol.

Whatever the issue was its fixed its self.

I downloaded Ubuntu, put on a USB stick and used one of the intel usb 3 ports to boot from it and run ubuntu from and it worked fine.

Booted back into windows and it's working fine there as well now.

    How odd!

The PC had been re-started a lot of times and it never fixed the issue.

The problem started 2 weeks ago but I only now got round to trying to fix it.
