    And?

That Russian benchmark said otherwise, will wait for more benchmarks.

    And??
You'll buy GF and continue to disparage NV(drivers, PhysX, CUDA, company ethos)
    Business as usual :)

When it comes to AMD/OpenGL and Wolfenstein, situation is much better than when RAGE was released.

poor GTX 580, but would you look at that GTX 750 Ti little monstrosity.

    NV has CUDA transcoding BUT
AMD has 4GB of VRAM alleviating the need for vt compression

Failed trolling, I was questioning 280x vs 770 remark, not nvidia or whateva..

And so what if I complain about nv and drivers, I made my point and both physx and drivers are much better now :p

btw, PCGH obviously tested with VT_compression - off.

I rather use compression and have 4-8k or even 16k textures then lousy 512, but that's just me.

290, not 290X. Different cards. Was confused for a second there. If you look at the 290X you'll notice it's equal to the 780 Ti here, so 'AMD without a chance' could probably be rephrased to something like...

AMD's 290X on par with (~£200 more expensive) GTX 780 Ti.

Funny because I just got done beating the game and my fps was awesome on an OC'd 7970 it never dipped below 60fps with two settings turned down a little notch.

True this engine is a piece of crap and was built around Nvidia's CUDA tech but still I had a blast with this game on AMD.

    Please god stop trolling!

at only 512 compressed no doubt.. But at 8192 or 16384 compressed it doesnt have such obvious artifacts + less streaming in general since its storing larger texture pages when you turn around.

Could this be the best multi-threaded optimized game out there? Take a look at this after a short run through the first part:

Trying not to spoil anything here, it's very early in the game, when you're in the first bunker. Look at the cpu core usage, it's even in all 8 cores. Can someone confirm this?

Yes it goes higher when you use higher max PPF..

Also its higher with jobthread=8 command, default can use 2-3cores.
