extreme must be some bad joke, no way in hell its so demanding, looks more like they used some abnormal shaders on purpose to cripple everything.

Well, High vs extreme looks the same, maaybe extreme has a little better lighting, but so small not worth literally 100% slower vs high.


All tests, including medium above @ 1470Mhz/ram 7330MHz; cpu 4.7Ghz

DX11 again Unigine? I expected a bit more from Unigine.

There is a lot of attention to detail but any realism is lost when objects are lifted into the air.

Anyway, here's some DX11 scores with 6700k + 980Ti;

That's because this benchmark is just plain bad... Doing massive overdraws and a lot of screen space effects. That means it is heavily dependent on overall speed of rasterization. Since 980TI has 50% more ROP units than GTX1080, this is the result, which doesn't represent real-world gaming. It also means that (at least pre-VEGA) AMD GPUs will suffer in this benchmark.
