Are you talking on your home screen, or in the app drawer?

You should be able to use Nova Launcher (or likely other launchers as well) to edit each icon and change it to whatever you wish, even if its the same image.

If you're talking in the app drawer that is a different story.. not sure how you'd do that one

Yea all of them, app drawer included, plus I have too many on the homescreen in folders to want to edit them all, that's why I was wanting a pack that actually changes all icons not just ones it has included in the pack

For example this pack doesn't care what apps you have installed, it will theme them all
https://play.google.com/store/apps/d...olium&hl=en_GB

Plus by editing icons manually, when you switch icon packs again, those that you edited don't change, you have to do it all over again

There are a few packs that can do it, I was just wanting one that themed all icons identically with say a simple icon rather than individual designs per app

My app drawer button atm is a simple white curved edges square like this, was thinking it might look quite good having all icons like that

ah right , with the icons inside the square. i only have round ones that do that atm.

S8 icons are kinda like that though, so maybe a s8 pack would do the trick.

Not with anything inside the square, just all icons exactly as the image, no app specific image, just all icons a white rounded square, or something equally bland and plain

Homescreen

Apps drawer

I've removed all traces of it from the PC/Device Manager, reset a few things in developer options relating to USB, but it continues to ask

I would suspect an update to Android having caused it, but it started doing it way after the last update
Fixed, ran WUMT and it found 3 new drivers for Samsung, installed them, it asked one more time for authorisation, and now subsequent connects it just opens as it should without asking

So it seems it was a driver problem

I was the closest I've been to flashing custom the other day, but it was for vanilla android (No TW), the only thing that stopped me was the camera needs TW framework and drivers to function fully, with non TW ROMs the quality of the camera drops a huge amount and the camera is like 80% of what I love about this phone

If it didn't break things like Samsung Pass and S.Health etc I wouldn't really be bothered about warranty, I tripped KNOX on my S5 after just a few weeks of owning it and it didn't affect me at all, but they've upped their game with the list of things it does break now

Yeah it matters all per provider. I know T-mobile still offers warranty when knox is tripped. I tripped it the other day lol , but i dont really care.
if you are gonna flash dont flash the regular android. you will miss all the samsung features. no touchwiz, bad camera.

This S8+ port is simply amazing. Advised is though to buy the devs romcontrol in playstore so you can manage a lot of things. Im really happy with it. it really feels like a new device.
(i did add more colored power icons which i made and added more menu speeds to the develop options which i flash after installation of the rom)

Might be cool to start a thread on custom S7/E ROM reviews, screens, camera samples, performance, bugs etc?

Well supposedly in the EU (Cough cough UK) tripping KNOX should not affect warranty under some law or other
http://matija.suklje.name/rooting-an...warranty-in-eu

Not heard of anyone being successful quoting this to anyone who has refused warranty so far though, seems to be luck of the draw if they check / don't care or not

Best way seems to be to brick the device so badly they can't check before RMA

well it is impossible to brick it. when you flash in odin again it will be restored to default, so they can find anyways.

yeah another thread might be cool.

Yea it's the stock launcher, you'd think someone would have ported it to run without the framework by now, or included the necessaries in the APK/Zip

yeah, all i see is modded ones to allow more stuff to the stock one. i tihnk you need to edit 4 apk's into one to achieve that. could be even more.
