Intel 4820k with gigabyte x79-up4 oc

    help me get stable oc with my board and cpu
    currently i have 1.420v vcore BLCK 100 multiplier x46 core 1 2 3 and 4 core x45
    i want to reach all of them to x46 or x47 but not stable

    raise load line calibration to max.
     
  3. mine will do 5ghz @ 1.45v prime stable 78 degrees

    I run 24/7 4.8ghz @ 1.32v
    Corsair h80 cooler

    maybe u got a poor chip

    did you test for stability with occt, linx etc @4.8ghz
     
  6. yes, its been fully tested and stressed @ 4.8 - 1.32v and all the way to 5.1 - 1.5v which was a little to close to limits but done for bench results.

    how did u overclock it.. was were u chancing in the uefi in x79 up4 motherboard.. i need a help in overclocking that motherboard.. please help thanks

    I have the same mobo there are some good oc guides everywhere to find,i just upped the multi until it didn't boot then added some vcore gave 1.1 to the imc and called it a day ;) its stable since i bought it,i don't have experience with ivy bridge e,i do think above 1.4 on air is to much for your chip 24/7 i'm not sure for sandybridge e you'd better stay a bit under 1.4.
