    Hi guys.
    I'm new in this forum.
(sorry for my english. I'm from Argentina).

I have a problem with MSI Afterburner.

    I have 2 profiles:

    a) Profile Stock (for games)
    b) Profile underclock (for Video HD. Core Clock=375 / Memory Clock 450 / Fan Speed=25%)

But when apply profile b) and playback an MKV file the Core Clock and Memory Clock change value. In this case, Core Clock up to 750 and Memory Clock up to 900.

I wish you the during video playback clocks are not changed.

Why the video player change the clocks?

When the player is closed Core Clock and Memory Clock return tu values profile (Core Clock=375 / Memory Clock 450).

    I hope I can help.

Sorry for my english. I'm From Argentina.

    Rgs.

    Diego.

    I forgot to clarify:

this append when using DXVA to playback MKV files.

    Player: MPC-HC (using Build-In decoder)

Sorry the only way to change the clock speed based on usage would require a bios flash

    thanks for answering.
Something does not understand: What is the use then this software?
I just want to respect the clocks that set up.

A few months ago using Windows Vista and rivaturner could do it perfectly.

have you tryed turning off detection for MPC-HC in Rivatuner statistics server (the one that runs alongside afterburner for application profiles)]

if you add the exe, then set 'application detection level' to none, it should no longer change the profile back to stock
