    I see more and more of these affordable sort of "gaming" cases. I recently bought a Zalman ZM-T3 for 25€.

    The only problem with this one is that the psu mounts on top instead of on the bottom

    why do they still design them this way.

    makes problems with psu as the psu fan intake hot air from the inside of the case and mixes it with the already hot inside of the psu.

    While it is not good for some PSUs, for others which are cool under load it is OK.
    I am using mine at bottom to take air from inside and improve airflow around graphics card.
    And even so air going from PSU is under 40C.

    But by having it at top you do not have this option therefore it is still not as good as having it at bottom since this case does not have fan slots at bottom.
