Some black magic for 680 Lightning owners:

On 2.2.4 you may edit Lightning hardware profile files (.\Profiles\VEN_10DE&DEV_1180....cfg) and add the following lines there:

[Settings]
VDDC_Generic_Detection = 0
VDDC_CHL8318_Detection = 46h
VDDC_CHL8318_Type = 1

Those lines disable NVIDIA's capped voltage control module, enable voltage control via direct access to CHL8318 and select offset voltage control mode for it.

Note: each card profile must be edited for SLI configs.

To Unwinder: i have MSI GTX 660ti/PE, it use Richtek RT8802 like GTX 680 ref to control voltage so can you help me how to add voltage in this card pl!
MSI 2.2.3 and 2.2.4 still do nothing, i'm so sad

Same for 670 PE OC.
Core voltage setting does nothing.
+100 doesn't change the core voltage at all.
Gather that's just Nvidia capping volts and MSI bad advertising of triple overvoltage control when your not going to get software core overvoltage control above 1.1750 ever, or at least not without bios and hardware modding.
Since it's been 3 nearly 4 months since release of the 670 PE OC card and there's been nothing above the default 1.1750v via software apart from words, I'll just assume it's never going to happen.

Correct me if I'm wrong by all means.
Regardless it's still a nice card.

There IS a triple overvoltage control since 2.2.3 on PEs.
And it DID increased my core from stock 1333core stable to overvoltage 1365core stable. gave me about ~2fps extra in unigine heaven benchmark.

How did you know it increased Core Voltage, what did you measure the core voltage with?

I can tell you know that the core voltage does not exceed v1.1750 period.
Put a DMM to the card and you'll see that adjusting the core voltage in MSI AB 2.2.2, 2.2.3, 2.2.4 does absolutely nothing past v1.1750 on a GTX 670 PE OC card.

It's not a fault of MSI AB or it's author, the blame lays on Nvidia for restrictions and MSI for advertising what they can't provide.

MSI would be off the hook if they had advertised saying "core voltage control", but no they used the term "OVERVOLTAGE", so it's misleading their customers to believe that their getting something they are not getting full stop.

I've already submitted my disapproval of the advertising method MSI has used to the company I purchased my card from, which by the way is not a fault of the shop I purchased from.
They offered a refund or exchange card for another and they'll adjust the price according to what card I replace it with.
At this point I almost ready to swap it for a reference card and a water block which will cost me nothing more then what I paid for the GTX 670 PE OC.
I'm still debating which way to go.

Learn to use DMM and choose proper voltage measurement points. Period. 670 PE series use two voltage controllers, the second controller is adding fixed voltage offset to output of the first one.

dear Unwinder, i wonder my GTX 660ti/PE is able overvolting ?
i saw it have the same chip of GTX 670PE to control voltage: Richtek RT8802

Richtek RT8802 is NOT controllable via software. 670 PE uses additional uP626 chip to add offset voltage to output of Richtek one. Not sure what is 660ti PE, ask MSI about it, not me.

Hi Unwinder!

I have a little doubt: ¿Is there a way to apply fixed vcore offset at startup? I.e: My stable OC is at +68mv, in order to achieve it I must enter +74 so when I hit "apply" it goes down to +68mv, but if I save the profile like that when I restart it is at +62 (as if I entered +68 and then hit apply. Saving with higher offset does not cut it since it continues in that drop loop every time I restart. Hope I was clear to explain my question

Kind Regards and thanks indeed as always!

I don't have a DMM... What I do have is: better results.
When I'm using the triple overvoltage slides in AB, I can reach 1365mhz on core stable! Before, I couldn't pass 1333 without becoming unstable!

I'm still pretty happy of your work mr. Unwinder, thanks again.

Looks like a rounding error for me, I think I'll be able to fix it in furure version.
